Whistle Blower

Greg Smith of Goldman Sachs blew the whistle on the business ethics of the corporation last week saying the culture of Goldman Sachs was "toxic" and the bank took advantage of clients. He went out of the company with a bang publishing an article in The New York times which explained why he was leaving the company as well as airing the dirty laundry of the culture of the company. What many argue is that he was an attention seeking weasel but I beg to differ. In my opinion Greg Smith did the right thing. He is someone that we should all idolize for his courage and level mind. If Greg Smith aould have just resigned from his position no one would be aware of the interworkings of the company and the actual twisted culture. We should all look to Smith and model our business actions after him and be sure to speak out if we see questionable behavior in our work.

  1. I agree completely with what you are saying. I feel we should all idolize Smith's courageous actions. I feel that more people should follow what he did and maybe what he did has made a few people do what he did. We need more courageous people that will inform America what is going on
