I believe that there is to much focus on commercials today and how far they would go to put one on television. If it is costing 2 million dollars to air a commercial for 30 seconds then it has gone to far. Something needs to be done about the costs of airing commercials. If they are able to spend this much money on just airing the commercial, not to mention the cost of producing it, then they are obviously doing well enough that they don't need to air the commercial. It also makes me think that their money could be used for better things than the commercial. This applies to previous discussions about how companies have sweat shops outside of the United States. If they can afford to pay this much money for a commercial then why can't they provide better work conditions and better pay for their employees? This definitely makes me think what kind of morals that a company has to spend such amount of money, which is probable pocked change for them because they are so willing to pay this sort of amount without any hesitation.
