Friends and "Friends" Blog 6

I have had the opportunity to live my childhood without the computer, cell phones, or the internet.  I can definitely tell a difference between the friends I have made through talking to people in person and online.  I feel that I can see a friend after five years from baseball and start a conversation like we saw each other yesterday.  I think this is because we have went through good and bad games together, so we have a strong bond.  Friends on Facebook are a different breed of friends.  I consider "friends" online that I have only met once or twice just acquaintances.  Online is a good way to keep in touch with close friends, but it also makes your other friendships artificial in nature.  Random friends online are just a picture and a name with no personality and no way to truly connect with you.

  1. I feel exactly how u feel about the change in technology and relationships we have for friends. It is weird how people that you dont even know send you "friend" requests when you dont even know them as a friend. its a funny world we live in today
