After the discussion in class it is evident that there are various loop holes to every theory and there is no perfect outcome. The example in the book is very simple like we talked about and there are more controversial examples that exist today on what should be done about companies that hold true to the stakeholders theory. I read up on the stakeholders theory in the real world today and came across a new approach to it and was very interested in how they would approach it. The article said that a new way to approach the stakeholders theory is from a feminist philosophy. This view stresses the importance of relationship and coming away from a contractual relationship. This relationship holds true to the stakeholder and the relationship looks for a better way for the corporation to expand instead of being limiting the liability a contract holds. The article talks about how contracts take great consideration within them as to when a caring relationship doesn't imply this but implies a greater care to prosper.
I would definitely have to agree with this view because a feminist view would bring with it more care not only with the relationship but when it comes to moral values. This change in morals will help keep a corporation in good spirit help them make a decision that will help a corporation no only prosper but make the right decisions when it comes to either the environment, employees, customers, etc.
