Corporations and Stockholders
The basic idea of managerial capitalism is the fact that corporations primarily focus on the stockholders' needs. This is good if you are an investor in the corporation obviously. Corporations get a bad name from critiques who think corporations are all about money and making a profit no matter what it takes. The fact is some corporations are not like that. Some give back to the community like Cintas Corporation. There are good and bad corporations just like there are good and bad people. We praise the corporations that do the "right" thing and look down on those that don't. Perhaps we should offer better incentives to corporations to do the right thing.
