Stakeholders

Personally, I believe corporations should operate with the stockholders' interests in mind. After all, it is their money that we're playing with here. As stakeholders, yes, we are also throwing money at this thing. But we get something out of it, whether it be a product, service, or salary. The stockholders, they put money into the business and it could either go their way or not. I believe management should make decisions based on the needs of the stockholders, not the stakeholders.

  1. I think you are right when you say that a company needs to act with their stockholders best interests in mind. However, I also think they can do this while being socially responsible. It is important to remember that corporations can make a profit, while still being socially responsible.
