Borgmann tries to reconnect the lines of communications. I see where he is coming from that tvs and other electronics disconnect us from each other. Its takes away quality bonding with family and friends and draw us into a cyber world, not reality. Having all this technology in our lives isnt necessary a bad think because it has lead to many discoveries but it also destroys personal interaction. People prefer to facebook or text rather than talk in person. This is taking away bonding and building a good relationship. Im not saying facebook is completely a bad thing because there is a few psoitives; one being you can keep in touch with family or friends you may not see often. Technology will continue to grow but a society as a whole needs to not fall into the pressure and lose contact with each on personal levels.
